Dear Colleague,

the draft recommandation on communication in the EU, signed by you and 60 other colleagues one year ago, has just had a first discussion in the Parliament. Last autumn, the Committee for Institutional Affairs conferred Gianfranco Dell'Alba the tsk of drafting a working document on the issue of (non)communication inside the institutions and among the citizens of the EU.

This document was the object of a first discussion on Thursday 27 January at the Committe for Institutional Affairs. The President of the Committee, Biagio De Giovanni, considering the interest shown by several members, decided to continue the debate at the next meeting of the Committee on February 25 and 26.

Hoping that you may want to take this opportunity to share and develop your opinions on such an important subject for the future of the EU, I send you the working document written by our colleague Dell'Alba, together witha book dealing with this problem, ralized by the Esperanto Radical Assiciation with a contribution of the European Union.
