Moscow, April 11, 1998. The public assembly of Moscow members, supporters and friends of Radical Party/ARA (the first one in this year, after five months) has taken place today in Andrey Sakharov Museum & Public Center. In the assembly have taken part about 40 activists united by their involvement in different initiatives of the party, antimilitarist and antiprohibitionist first of all. Among them: Nikolaj Khramov, secretary of ARA; Lev Levinson, secretary of Human Rights Chamber; Stepan Petrosjan, psychologist and author of the "Culture of Madness"; Sergej Sorokin, Sergej Vorontsov, Ilja Malkov, Ljudmila Vakhnina, Susanna Tsaturjan, Igor Genkin, Lilija Malkova and others.
In the center point of the discussion were initiatives on the "Russian front" of Radical struggle, first of all - for a liberal conscientious objection law and against new prohibitionist law on drugs.
