Dear Colleague,

We are delighted to enclose a brochure on the main campaigns that the Radical Party supports this year. We also take the occasion to thank those among you who - for different reasons - support them, in particular the establishment of the International Criminal Court, the moratorium of capital executions, and the establishment of democracy in China and the restoration of freedom in Tibet.

We are also pleased to remind you that the Radical Party is not only a transnational organization, but also a trans-party, i.e. an organization open to all those who share at least one of its goals (those referred above and those that appear in the brochure) and want to engage themselves for at least one of those campaigns. Every member of the Radical Party remains free as for hers/his choices of national policies and as for hers/his other political commitments.

We are also taking the liberty to present to you today the text of an appeal in support of the inscription in the next UN General Assembly's agenda of an item on the question of the universal moratorium of capital punishment. Best wishes.
