"We ask the European Council, in case it should open the way for serious negotiations with Belgrade, not to forget a fundamental question: the immediate and unconditional release of all the political prisoners and prisoners of war. We ask the Council to undertake all the possible initiatives, also through the EU representative, President Ahtisaari, in order that Prof. Ukshi Hoti, Albin Kurti and Adil Vokrri are immediately liberated. We hope that the Council of EU will be able to make Milosevic and others responsible of Belgrade regime clearly understand that every political prisoner that would have been executed would be a further aggravating circumstance for which they would have to answer politically and penally."
