THE NIHOUL-DUTROUX AFFAIR: LETTER TO MEMBERS OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT (3)

Dear colleague,

A few hours before the debate on the Klamt Report (on the fight against sex tourism involving children), I am sending you further information on the Nihoul-Dutroux Affair, including some of the most significant extracts from the book "The X dossiers" - which I would strongly advise you to read - on the (mal)functioning of the enquiry. A book which, around six months after publication, has led to only one libel action on the part of a gendarme.

I have also attached the interview with Gino and Carine Russo, the parents of one of the victims, which demonstrates more effectively than any book or document the deep bewilderment of the parents with respect to the development of the enquiry.
