BEIJING, Nov. 2, Asiainfo Services, Inc. -- While most of the worlds major auto makers are eyeing the auto market in China, one company is preparing to build assembly lines in the country. A new joint venture to design and build equipment for manufacturing automobiles is expected to be launched this year between the Italian Fata Group and the Luoyang-based Fourth Institute under the Ministry of Machinery Industry. An agreement has been signed and Fata and the Ministry's Automotive Department, with the hope that the joint venture will come into being this year.
