BEIJING, Nov. 3, Asiainfo Services, Inc. -- On Oct. 24, the British company PAFEC, together with its only domestic agent, the IMVEC Company, for the first time introduced their CAD software, known as EDM (engineering data management systems) to Chinese users.

Beijing IMVEC Computer System Co., Ltd., a company under the British IMVEC group, is devoted to computer hardware and software. It is a service company acting as an exclusive agent for first-rate engineering design software, to include large-scale plant design and management system (PDMS), large-scale engineering design and analyzing software (MOSS), intelligent plant design and management system (CADPIPE), a new generation of building auxiliary CAD software(Sonata) and a new engineering data management system (EDM).
