SUZHOU, Nov.3, Asiainfo Services, Inc. -- US Upjohn Co., Ltd. has recently signed a contract with Suzhou No. 4 Medicine Factory on the establishment of a joint venture in China to produce animal protection products. A total sum of US $15 million is to be invested by the JV to prepare the necessary facilities. It is reported that Upjohn will hold 75% of shares in the JV, which is expected to be put into operation by the year 1997.
