Excerpts from report by Chinese regional newspaper from Tibet Xizang Ribao'

The Tibet Autonomous Regional People's Congress General Office held a ceremony on 31st October to present journalism awards and inaugurate Renmin Xizang' Chinese: People's Tibet' 0086 3046 6007 5661 . Entrusted by the National People's Congress, Zheng Ying, vice-chairman of the provincial people's congress standing committee, presented journalism awards to winners for publicizing the system of people's congress...

On behalf of the regional party committee propaganda department, deputy director Xiyao Jiachu extended congratulations on the inauguration of Renmin Xizang' and to award winners.

Entrusted by the China Press and Publications Administration, a responsible person of the regional Press and Publications Administration read the approving letter for the Renmin Xizang' , a Tibetan and Chinese bilingual bimonthly published by the regional people's congress general office.

Li Weilun, vice-chairman of the regional people's congress standing committee, spoke at the ceremony.
