[CND, 12/21/95] Smoking in hospitals, theatres, schools and public transport facilities will be banned in Beijing from May 15, 1996, according to a law which the standing committee of the Beijing municipal People's Congress passed on December 21, Reuter reports. Shanghai, Shenyang, Wuhan, and Chongqing have passed similar laws. (Jian-Min LI, Liedong ZHENG)
