[CND, 12/27/95] -- Toyota has announced that two of its affiliates plan to produce car parts with affiliates of Tianjin Automotive Industrial (Group) Co., a Chinese carmaker, JEN reported last Tuesday. If its application is approved, Toyota will be building passenger cars with its Chinese counterpart in Tianjin, southeast of Beijing, using parts from the new ventures. One proposed joint venture, for producing starters and alternators, is capitalized at 1.66 billion yen; the other, for producing brake hoses, at 384 million yen.
