Guangming Daily reports that over half of the doctors in rural China have only primary or middle school education without full medical training, according to Reuters. Every village in suburban Tianjin and Shanghai, major cities in east China, has more than two doctors, but the average number of doctors in Tibetan villages is 0.37, with three-quarters of them graduates of primary school only.
