DHARAMSALA, Feb 6: The younger sister of the Tibetan spiritual and temporal leader, the Dalai Lama, Ms Jetsun Pema, has been conferred the prestigious "Mother of Tibet" award by the Tibetan Parliament in-exile here for her contribution to education.

Ms Pema, Director of the Tibetan Children Village, located on the outskirts of the town, has been engaged in providing education facility to tibetan refugees and other natives settled in Dharamsala for the past three decades.
