Aaron Jorgensen, a resident of Williamstown, Massachusetts, will be walking from Williamstown to Washington, DC to promote awareness of the Chinese occupation of Tibet.
On March 10, Mr. Jorgensen will join March for Tibet's Independence, organized by International Tibet Independence Movement, U.S. Tibet Committee, Students for a Free Tibet, and Tibetan Women's Association (US-East Coast).
Mr. Jorgensen will be writing a daily account of his experiences, which he will make available to news media. Mr. Jorgensen will also be featured on a radio program aired by 91.9 WCFM, Williamstown.
Mr. Jorgensen's effort will be supported entirely by donations.
