What follows is a weekly schedule of the locations that we will pass through as we walk for Tibet's independence. Please note that this is a tentative schedule & can change due to weather & other environmental conditions, and modifications in our schedule of presentations. For daily updates on our itinery, you can reach our telephone voice mail service (317-579-9015), our worldwide website (http://www.@nuvo.net/tibet), our e-mail address at L.GERSTEIN@EWORLD.COM, or if absolutely necessary, our telephone service at 317-356-4018 (after 5:30PM EST). We can also be reached on our cellular phone 317-727-4097. Due to the cost of this service, please do not use this option, unless absolutely necessary. If you intend to join us along the walk for a day, weekend, or week, we highly suggest that you contact one of these resources at least three days before meeting us on the road. We would also request that you inform us of your desire to take part in the walk by March 5, 1996.
While we are trying to arrange lodging, it is important that each participant bring the following: sleeping gear, tent, towel, cup, bowl, utensils, foul weather gear, the necessary clothing & shoes for walking on concrete, & money for food. Since we will be traveling quite simply, we strongly recommend that you bring as few possessions as possible. We need additional support vehicles (e.g., vans). When possible, we will assist you with transportation back to the destination where you arrived on the route. If you have a Tibetan flag, bring this as well.
To join the walk, we encourage you to meet us in the morning. We anticipate leaving each destination at 9AM. If you cannot arrive at this time, then simply follow the route we are scheduled to be on until you catch up with us. We look forward to seeing you on the walk.
