Members of the Czech Pen Club, have joined the international community in calling on China to withdraw from Tibet, which it has occupied since 1951. A demonstration was held on Monday in front of the Chinese Embassy in Prague, to mark the anniversary of the failed Tibetan uprising in Lhasa in 1959. The demonstration, organised by the People in Need Foundation, was attended by more than two hundred people.
