Kathmandu, 1st April: Nepali Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said Sunday [31st March] that Nepal's foreign policy is "unequivocal" on matters concerning Tibet autonomous region of China. Nepal has been recognizing Tibet as an inseparable part of China, he said.
While meeting a Nepalese delegation of journalists, which was to visit China, Deuba said Sunday that no change had been made in Nepal' s policy on Tibet nor would be made in the future.
"We are committed not to allow any anti-China activities to take place on the Nepalese soil," he added.
Noting that Nepal and China share a common Himalayan culture and enjoy a very close and traditional friendship, Deuba said ties between the two neighbours are ever growing on the basis of the principles of peaceful coexistence.
The seven-member delegation of Nepalese journalists is leaving for China Monday.
During their 10-day stay in China, the Nepalese journalists will visit Chinese cities of Lhasa, Chengdu, Beijing and Shenzhen.
