BEIHAI (April 17) XINHUA - A European style hotel in the southern Chinese port city of Beihai, run by Tibetans, with staff from 10 ethnic groups, has attracted many foreign travellers.
"The Night Paris International Club", one of the biggest hotels in Beihai, in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has become a window for Tibet in its opening to the outside world, by helping people get to know more about the region.
It is also planning on organizing tours for prospective foreign investors to Tibet every month.
The 300 employees of the Night Club, which was funded by the governments of Tibet, Guangxi, and Inner Mongolia, are from the Tibetan, Mongolian, Zhuang, Yao, Miao, Hui, and Tong ethnic groups. It serves western, Chinese, and ethnic minority food.
