An MP for the Civic Democratic Alliance, Cestmir Hofhanzl, met Dalai Lama's deputy for Eastern Europe, Chope Paljor Tsering on Tuesday.
As Mr. Hofhanzl told reporters after the meeting, his Tibetian guest informed him about the situation in Tibet and the damage the Chinese occupation does to the local culture and religion.
Hofhanzl said that an international support for Tibet is important and that the Czech Republic can help, for example, by enabling young Tibetans to study at Czech universities.
