Beijing, 7th May, Xinhua: The 38th chairmanship meeting of the Eighth National Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference [CPPCC] Committee today decided to hold the 17th meeting of the Eighth National CPPCC Committee Standing Committee in Beijing in mid-June.

Attending today's meeting were Ye Xuanping, Wu Xueqian, Yang Rudai, Ngapoi Ngawang Jigme [Tibetan leader who signed 17-point agreement with PRC], Qian Weichang, Sun Fuling, Zhu Guangya, Wan Guoquan and He Luli, National CPPCC Committee vice-chairmen.
