Public radio station KPFA in San Francisco will broadcast a one hour special entitled "An Evening for Tibet in Honor of Gendun Rinchen" on Wednesday, June 5 at 2 pm.

The event, sponsored by the International Committee of Lawers for Tibet, featured presentations by Rinchen, Harry Wu, Robert Thurman, Orville Schell, Jerry Brown, Jamyang Norbu, and Huston Smith. The program began with Tibetan music by the performance troupe Chaksam-pa.
