Immediately before the Bundestag [German lower house] debate on the Tibet resolution, the leadership in Beijing accused the parliament in Bonn of serious interference with the internal affairs of the People' s Republic of China.

Beijing's Foreign Ministry spokesman Guofang said that the Bundestag insisted on discussing Tibet, completely disregarding his government' s protests. The debate was a clear violation of the rules of international relations. Tibet was an inseparable part of China...
