The poem collection is the cream of Chinese literature, including more than 300 outstanding classical poems in very different styles, created by nearly 70 poets during the Tang dynasty (618-907).
Puncog Cering, president of the Tibetan Academy of Social Sciences, translated the poems from the Han language to the Tibetan language, aiming at popularizing classical literature among the Tibetans.
Scholars and experts believe that the Tibetan edition of the poem collection will enrich Tibetan literature, while boosting the cultural exchanges between the Han Nationality and the Tibetan group.
