The news agency also said since its founding in 1985 Human Rights Watch/Asia had maintained a "hostile attitude against China, stirred up disputes over human rights issues, fabricated rumours to attack and slander China, and played henchman for Western forces that opposed China."
In a separate report received in Beijing on Monday, the Tibet Information Network said that China had increased restrictions on individual travellers to Tibet, closing at least 10 travel offices in Lhasa in June.
Chinese authorities said the closures were due to poor service, according to the London-based organisation which monitors Tibetan affairs. No immediate comment on the report was available.
