The Kashag, the Cabinet of the Tibetan Govenrment in exile has appointed Mr. Dawa Tsering, as the new Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama for the Americas.

Mr. Tsering, is a former member of the Kashag and a senior officer of the Central Tibetan Administration. Mr Rinchen Dharlo will continuing his responsibilities as President of the Tibet Fund now on a full-time basis.
