Police in the Indian state of West Bengal have been questioning a Chinese woman and three Tibetans on suspicion of spying on the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalal Lama. The Chinese woman, Chiang Hu, was arrested on Friday in Salugura in West Bengal, where the Dalai Lama was conducting a Buddhist ceremony. Officials said Chiang Hu told them that the group was working for the Chinese intelligence agency. They said the group was suspected of trying to penetrate the Dalal Lama's inner circle.
