San Francisco, Apr. 20, 97 -- Chaksam-pa will be on the East coast to participate in the forthcoming Tibetan Freedom Concert on June 7,8 1997. After the concert, seven to ten artists of Chaksampa will tour east coast.

They are still looking for more venues to perform.

Chaksam-pa performs traditional Tibetan musical instruments, songs and dance. They will also perform original materials from their new album. They have toured in the United States since 1989 and they have received excellent reviews from many different papers. Chaksam-pa was one of the artists featured at the 1996 Tibetan Freedom Concert in San Francisco.
