The Dalai Lama of Tibet, who meets congressional leaders and human rights activists this week. On Wednesday, he will attend the World Parliamentarians Convention on Tibet at 9:30 a.m. in Room 2172 of the Rayburn House Office Building. On Thursday, he will attend a Passover Seder and an interfaith prayer gathering for freedom in Tibet.
Ivo Vajgl, state secretary in the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who speaks at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the National Press Club on Slovenia's desire to join NATO.
Thabo Mbeki, deputy president of South Africa, who speaks tomorrow at the National Press Club at 9 a.m.
Romanian Foreign Minister Adrian Severin, who discusses Romania's quest for NATO membership in a speech tomorrow to invited guests at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
