The World Uyghur Network News is produced by the Eastern Turkistan Information Center (ETIC) and is devoted to the current political, cultural and economic developments in Eastern Turkistan and to the Uyghurs related issues.

Eastern Turkistan is a name used by the majority of the Uyghurs for their Motherland located in what is at present Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China.

The World Uyghur Network News is intended to bring information on situation in Eastern Turkistan from the Uyghur and other sources to attention of the international community. Credits must be given to all sources cited.
