Dalai Lama: Our cultural heritage, actually, I believe, has some potential to help, not only people, but also I think quite a large number of the human community in this part of the world. And to some extent even humanity in general. I think our cultural heritage is very much involved with peace and nonviolence. And peace with fellow human beings, peace with animals, peace with the environment. I think the cultural heritage has the potential to create that kind of attitude. So I have to make the distinction, now that the very culture is facing the threat of extinction.
