We, the undersigned, are gravely concerned about Breckenridge Resources plans to proceed with a mining operation in Eastern Tibet. Mining and logging have been particularly destructive to the Tibetan environment. We feel that any development activities in Tibet must seek first and foremost to benefit the Tibetan people, with a minimum of negative environmental impact. It is crucial that any and all corporations seeking to do business in Tibet first consult the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, which best represents the interest of the Tibetan people.
We urge Breckenridge to consult the Tibetan Government-in-Exile and to make public its plans for operations in Tibet. "
