The International Committee of Lawyers for Tibet (ICLT) "Legal Materials On Tibet." 2nd edition is now available.
ICLT's 409-page, 2nd edition bound copy of "Legal Materials on Tibet" is now available. This one-stop resource for legal materials on Tibet is intended as a reference for those investigating contemporary Tibetan issues. It includes United Nations resolutions and reports, national and regional governmental resolutions, and reports from non-governmental organizations. Also included are Tibetan treaties and relevant Tibetan proposals and statements, as well as Chinese documents on Tibet. Since ICLT first published "Legal Materials on Tibet," in April 1994, efforts on behalf of the Tibetan people have expanded considerably. As a result, governments and intergovernmental bodies have produced nearly twice as many resolutions and documents concerning Tibet over the past two and a half years as during the previous forty-four year period since the People's Republic of China invaded Tibet in 1950. This second edition bears witness to the resulting achievements. Copies are available to individuals for a US$25 donation;
to institutions for a US$40 donation; and free to Tibet Support Groups. To order, contact ICLT at tel: (510)486-0588 / fax:(510)548-3785 / email: iclt@igc.apc.org / or by mail to: ICLT, 2288 Fulton St., Ste.312, Berkeley, CA 94704. Checks should be made payable to ICLT.
