New York, Feb 17 - His Holiness the Fourteenth Dalai Lama of Tibet will be visiting New York, Boston, Atlanta, and Madison, in April and May 1998. The three-week visit will include several Buddhist teachings, events related to the preservation of Tibetan cultural identity, and the conferral of honorary degrees from three universities.
In New York His Holiness will give teachings to the Chinese Buddhist community and receive the 1998 Juliet Hollister Award, among other events. His Holiness will also attend the Art of Freedom & Light of Truth Awards Dinner, tickets by invitation only, to benefit Tibet House, Tibet Fund, International Campaign for Tibet, and the Central Tibetan Administration.

At Brandeis University in Boston, His Holiness will receive an honorary
