London, 21 May (TIN) - A fourth protest by Tibetan prisoners in nearly a year took place in Drapchi prison in Lhasa three days before a visit by a European Union delegation this month. A Tibetan prisoner reportedly died in hospital after being beaten following the protest, which occurred during a Chinese flag raising ceremony organised by prison officials on 1 May. There are unconfirmed reports of a further prison demonstration on the same day as the visit of the EU delegation to Drapchi on 4 May.
