Mrs Danielle Mitterrand, widow of former French President, launched today an appeal to M. Kofi Annan.

Mrs Danielle Mitterrand, President of France Libertes, and her staff, deeply moved by the determination of the 6 Hunger Strikers fasting for over 45 days, and aware of the injustice committed against the Tibetan people, launch an appeal to the U.N.O. General Secretary so as, following the recommendations of the International Commission of Jurists report, the community of nations reexamines the Tibetan issue.

She sends to those 5 men and woman her sympathy and admiration and wishes their voice will be heard before it's too late.
