We send this information to WTN because we think there is so many Tibetans and other Tibet speaking) in the West who want to be updated on the hunger strikes and what is going on. VOTs daily 30 mins. radio service is put on www.vot.org - updated every day. Please consider this to be put in the next edition of WTN.

Voice of Tibet (VOT) broadcasts a daily 30 minutes service on short wave to Tibet. The programme is produced by Tibetan journalists stationed in India, Nepal and other countries, including Europe and the US. All VOT programmes are broadcasted in Tibetan language and focus mainly on Tibet related issues.

The target area being Tibet and the neighbouring countries VOT cannot be heard outside this range for e.g. Europe, Far East or USA. For listeners in these countries Vision Tibet Consulting in Switzerland is happy to announce that VOT can now be heard daily on internet under http://www.vot.org After 14.00 hours (GMT) you will get the broadcast of the same day.

VOT is trying to start up a daily morning service in the near future.
