The Federal Council of the transnational Radical Party invites the Secretary:

to undertake the appropriate iinitiatives to help Comrade Ekaterina Podolzeva and to prevent legal proceedings against her nonviolent action. In prison in Leningrad, she is now in the 14th day of her hunger strike, in order to reaffirm the basic right of every citizen in the Soviet Union to the freedom of demonstration, a right which is provided for in Article no. 50 of the Soviet constitution itself, as well as in the principal international acts concerning human rights.
