SOVIET UNION l--November 14 is the traditional Day of Protest against political detention organized by dissident groups. Evgenia Debrjanskaja will take part in a demonstration before the KGB offices in Plosciadj Dzerdzjnski in Moscow. The demonstrators, including Radicals, will encircle the KGB building in a human chain, requesting the respect of human and civil rights and in support of democracy.
SOVIET UNION 2--Roumanian Embassy. November 15. The Soviet Radicals, led by Nikolaj Kramov and Alexander Pronozin, together with other democratic groups will demonstrate in favour of democracy in Roumania and in remembrance of the Brasow massacre. Arrests and harsh police reaction are expected.
SOVIET UNION 3--Almost one hundred Soviet members of the Transnational Radical Party. In addition to Moscow, Radicals are active in Leningrad, Riga (a centre in the Baltic Republic), Kujbishev (an industrial city at the foot of the Urals), Baku (capital of Azerbajdzan in Central Asia), and Alma Ata--and very soon, also in Tbilisi (capital of Georgia).
SLOVENJA 1--Marino Busdachin and Eros Bicic, members of the Federal Council of the Radical Party took part in the October session of the Round Table which was held in Ljubljana. The Round Table was created for the discussion of electoral laws and regulations proposed by Parliament for the first democratic elections in Slovenja, which are planned for next spring. During the Round Table meeting, as in Hungary, the Communist League, the Socialist Alliance and the new opposition parties and groups compared ideas.
SLOVENJA 2--A Radical Party delegation will take part in the Alliance of Socialist Youth of Slovenja (ZSMS) Congress which will begin on November 3, in Portoroz. The dialogue between young Sovene Socialists and the Radical Party, which has been going on for some time--we must not forget that it was thanks to them that the PR was invited to hold part of its January Federal Council meeting in Bohinj--find in the issues which will be discussed at the Congress and in the new independent role that the ZSMS intends to take in the elections and in Slovenja, a new point of agreement and common commitment to the campaign for the union of the peoples of Europe, for the growth of democracy and the removal of "Real Socialism" and "Real Democracy". On January 6 of this year, in Ljubljana, young Socialists presented Marco Pannella with a membership card to their organization and, now that they are to become a new autonomous and democratic party, they will certainly find in the Radical Party that comprehension and cooper
ation necessary for transforming the syntony of ideas into common actions. The Radical delegation will be made up of Sandro Ottoni, Vitomir Cezmadzinskj and Marino Busdachin.
