Mr President, on a point of order. In my pigeon hole this morning I received an invitation from Mr Janssen van Raay to join the European Parliament Indonesian Friendship Association where, apparently, in exchange for trading in one's political principles, one can get a boarding pass for a holiday in Indonesia. Mr President, will you ask the Committee on the Rules of Procedure to rule on whether or not in these circumstances Members should register, in their declaration of Members' interests, their membership of such an association as, clearly, it may affect their voting on human rights matters in East Timor? Mr Janssen van Raay may be celebrating 50 years of Indonesian independence but the people of East Timor certainly are not.
