Mr President, I rise to speak in support of Members giving their explanations of vote at the voting time. That is what the Rules say. There has been constant breach of the Rule by the presidents in the chair, both past and present. We have a situation where the democratic rights of the Members of this House have been removed by the Members themselves in their vote today and handed over to those fascists we despise and who are terrorising the lives of ordinary citizens. That is something that should not be allowed to happen. If democracy is not allowed to prevail and Members do not have the right to make an explanation of vote when they wish to do so, then democracy will be handed over to the most despicable Members of this House. That is something which should not be allowed to happen. I am not down for an explanation of vote, so I feel free to speak on these matters.
Lastly, may I say, Mr President, that if you do not ensure that in future this House runs its affairs properly, there will be constant interruptions such as this which will waste the House' time unnecessarily.
(Applause)
