The situation is this: the questioner has the right to ask one supplementary question. If the President receives requests from other Members who have requested supplementaries, he can allow up to two on each question. He cannot and will not allow the original questioner a second supplementary.

Questions Nos 60 to 89 will receive written answers. Those Members who are not present when questions come up do not receive a written answer. If you have a question down which has not been reached you will get a written answer.

I would like to make one remark to Commissioner Schmidhuber. I would like to thank you for the competent way in which you have answered questions from all sides of the House on every possible subject. At the same time, it is a matter for some regret, even though you act as a collegiate body, that we only have had one Commissioner here for the whole of Question Time. Perhaps you would like to think about this. Perhaps you would like to put a proposal either now or in the future.
