As the newly-appointed quaestor responsible for security matters, can I assure Mr Falconer that all the points he made have been taken on board. The matter was discussed at the Conference of Presidents yesterday, and it is being discussed in the Bureau. I do not believe he will be dissatisfied with the security system that is eventually put in place, though certain members of the Parliament security services may be rather disappointed that some of their grander ideas will not be carried through to full fruition.
