Mr President, I do not know whether the Commissioner realizes it, but we represent people. I have got to go back on Friday to an area with one of the biggest steel works in the Community, which employed 20,000 people in 1979 and now employs 5000 people, and tell them that the Commission - and the right Commissioner is not here; I would like to know where the right Commissioners are; they are not here; they should be - is abdicating its responsibilities! Does he think that is fair on my constituents, who suffered tremendously in the 1980s because the British Government did not provide any state aid? The British Government is not going to provide any state aid. So what is he going to tell us so that I can offer them some hope for the future continuation of their industry?
