Mr President, on a point of order. I wish to draw Parliament's attention to a resident in my constituency, Mr Shah, who was deported recently from the United Kingdom having the day before cut himself in such a way, in such a depressed state, that I believe it was an attempt to kill himself. The next day the United Kingdom Government sent him back to Pakistan in nothing but a pair of pyjamas. He was deported having received 59 stitches to wounds so severe it is alleged that bone could be seen.
This is treatment unfit for animals; this is an abuse of human rights. This needs to be condemned for what it is: the action of a tinpot dictatorship.
(Applause)
