United Nations Financing System for Science and Technology for Development

The General Assembly,

Having noted the proposal of the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme for the 1982 administrative budget of the Secretariat of the United Nations Financing System for Science and Technology for Development and the related oral report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions,

Authorizes the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions to approve further increases in the staff and other resources of the United Nations Financing System for Science and Technology for Development up to the levels indicated in paragraphs 5 and 6 of the proposals of the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme after the Pledging Conference, in the light of requests made by the Administrator and of information on the expected level of operations each time such a request is made.
