Report of the Committee for Development Planning on its twentieth session

The Economic and Social Council,

Having considered the report of the Committee for Development Planning on its twentieth session and taking note of the statement made by the Committee at the conclusion of its work,

Taking note also of the statement made before the Council on 5 July 1984 by the Chairman of the Committee for Development Planning,

1. Decides to advance the session of the Committee for Development Planning scheduled for April 1985 to the last quarter of 1984, as proposed, and to hold that session at Geneva, and to consider the proposed schedule of meetings of the Committee at the organizational session for 1985 of the Council;

2. Expresses its appreciation of the programme of work of the Committee for Development Planning and invites the Committee to continue to present action-oriented recommendations.
