Resolution on the situation of Jewish hostages in Lebanon

The European Parliament,

welcoming the release of the German hostages held in Lebanon,

having regard to its previous resolutions on the hostages held in Lebanon,

Expresses its deep concern about the fate of

- Selim Mourad Jamous

- Elie Hallac

- Elie Srour

- Isaac Sasson

- Yehouda Beniste

- Yussef Beniste

- Hneri Mann

kidnapped for no reason and held hostage because they are Jews;

Calls on the governments of Lebanon, Syria and Iran to take all necessary steps to secure the release of these hostages;

Instructs its President to forward this resolution to the Commission, the Council, European Political Cooperation and the Lebanese, Syrian and Iranian Governments.
