Resolution on the proposal pending before the Council on 31 October 1993 concerning budgetary control for which entry into force of the Treaty on European Union will require a change in adoption procedure

The European Parliament,

-having regard to the list of amendments adopted by the Commission on 31 October 1993 to the proposals for mandatory acts for which entry into force of the Treaty on European Union will require a change in the legal base and/or a change in procedure (COM(93)0570),

-having been consulted by letter of 15 November 1993 from the President of the Commission on the Commission proposals listed in COM(93)0570 (C3-0369/93) which are to be adopted by the procedure laid down in Article 189b of the EC Treaty (co-decision procedure),

-having regard to Article 189b(2) of the EC Treaty,

-having regard to the report of the Committee on Budgetary Control (A3-0407/93),

1.Confirms, by way of first reading under the co-decision procedure, the vote taken on the following Commission proposal and the amendments which the Commission has not incorporated in the proposal as amended:

-vote of 15 May 1991 on proposal COM(90)0525 - COM(91)0235 - C3-0445/93 for a directive amending Directive 76/308/EEC on mutual assistance for the recovery of claims resulting from operations forming part of the system of financing the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund, and of agricultural levies and customs duties and in respect of value added tax;

2.Instructs its President to forward this resolution to the Commission and the Council.
