Legislative resolution on the proposal for a Council decision accepting, on behalf of the European Economic Community, the Convention on the elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia (COM(93)0068 - C3-0251/93)

The European Parliament,

-having regard to the proposal for a Council decision (COM(93)0068),

-having regard to the Convention on the elaboration of a European Pharmacopoeia presented by the Council pursuant to Articles 113 and 228(2) and (3), second subparagraph, of the EC Treaty (C3-0251/93),

-having regard to the Commission position in its document of 31 October 1993 (C3-0369/93) on the adaptation of the legal basis after the entry into force of the Treaty on European Union,

-having regard to Rule 90 of its Rules of Procedure,

-having regard to the report of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection (A3-0173/94),

1.Gives its assent to acceptance of the Convention;

2.Instructs its President to forward this legislative resolution embodying its assent to the Council and Commission, and the governments and parliaments of the Member States.
