Legislative resolution embodying the opinion of the European Parliament on the draft Council and Commission decision on the position to be adopted by the Community within the Association Council established by the Europe Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Hungary, of the other part, signed at Brussels on 16 December 1991, with regard to the adoption of the rules necessary for the implementation of Article 62(1)(i), (1)(ii) and (2) of that Agreement and of Article 8(1)(i), (1)(ii) and (2) of Protocol No 2 on ECSC products to that Agreement (C4-0181/95 - 5929/95 - 95/0810(CNS))

(Consultation procedure)

The European Parliament,

-having regard to the draft Council and Commission Decision (5929/95 - 95/0810(CNS)),

-having been consulted by the Council pursuant to Articles 87 and 235 in conjunction with Article 228(2), second sentence, and 228(3), first subparagraph, of the EC Treaty (C4-0181/95),

-having regard to Rule 58 of its Rules of Procedure,

-having regard to the report of the Committee on External Economic Relations and the opinion of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Security and Defence Policy (A4-0179/95),

1.Approves the position to be adopted;

2.Instructs its President to forward this opinion to the Council and Commission, the governments and parliaments of the Member States and the Government of Hungary.
